I am a romantic and a sentimentalist.
One of my biggest regrets is not getting a professional wedding album made when I was married. Instead I decided to save money and make my own. It took me a couple of years to get around to it but I finally found the time to put it together.
I was so excited about having something similar to the robust wedding album my parents had – the one that I’d reverently paged through from the time I was a little girl. Instead, though I did my best, I ended up creating a rather sad little thing with a 5×7 sitting statically in the middle of each leaf, awkwardly clinging to the pages with little black photo corners and sticky dots.
The number one regret of all the married couples I’ve spoken to about their photography experience is not getting a wedding album. One thing is for sure, making the investment in a professionally bound, fine art wedding book is never going to be a decision you regret. Have you ever heard anyone say ‘I just wish we didn’t get that wedding album’?!
Sweet Hope albums are printing on archival quality, matte paper that is rated to last generations without discolouring, yellowing or fading. They come in a rustic box made from sustainable New Zealand pine and are gutter free, allowing beautiful full spread images to shine.
Unlike digital files, these albums are also technology resistant, outlasting disks, usb’s, hard drives and whatever memory storage will next become antiquated. They come stress-free, safe from corrupted or outdated file types, a true family heirloom.
